It works just like any other Pyrex storage container set as the containers are dishwasher, freezer and microwave safe and the BPA-free plastic lids are dishwasher and freezer safe. Note. The product page says the lids are also microwavable, but I personally don't use plastic in the microwave so I can't confirm the results. The Pyrex containers are made in the USA 🇺🇸 and the lids (2) are marked "Made in the USA". Fiction! However, the country of origin is not listed for the round caps (2), but the product page states that the entire set is made in the USA. PYREX DECORATED STORAGE: The 8-piece Minnie Mouse set is securely packaged in a sturdy box. with bins arranged in a cardboard bin as shown in my photos. Lids provide additional protection by placing them under a suitable container. Lids fit well with no issues or leaks! Both the container and the lid are sturdy and well made. Overall, the Pyrex decorated set is a cute set that has the quality and functionality of other Pyrex storage containers. While it's cute at $39.99 in my opinion, it's overpriced. I have an undecorated 4 piece set in the same sizes as this set and the price is much less! In fact, a quick search at Revain shows that I can get 4 undecorated 3-cup Pyrex rectangular containers with lids for $32.49 and 4 4-cup round jars with lids for $31.95. For my family, undecorated sets would make more sense because my boys will not be using Minnie Mouse containers not that I share! 😉
