Rectangular lids don't close well

I was so excited to see Pyrex with Minnie Mouse and knew I wanted to add to my Pyrex collection. This set is so adorable! Unfortunately the green rectangular one had a large chip in the jar and I had to throw it away. I wouldn't deduct a star for this as it was probably damaged in shipping, not the quality. This glass is pretty thick. I'm taking off a star because the lids don't fit snugly on the rectangular glass storage containers. You are very free. I do not recommend using rectangular onesโ€ฆ

Rectangular lids slide open freely, dishwasher safe design

I have a Disney Minnie Mouse 8 Piece Storage Set. As the name suggests, this set includes all Minnie Mouse prints. The color of the lids corresponds to the drawings on the round and rectangular containers. Round lids fit well, but rectangular lids dangle a bit. Round lids, I have to tear them off the containers. But I can easily remove rectangular lids from rectangular containers. I still have a set of round Pyrex bowls and these lids fit these Minnie bowls and vice versa. The shells also nest.

Fiction! for containers

Our family has been using Pyrex storage containers for almost 10 years. I promise this is a great brand and these are high quality items. Worth every penny and then some. I invested in several Pyrex storage containers when my oldest son switched to solid food. And we still use them every day, more than a decade later. From prep to storage (and sometimes all in one dish, hooray!), these containers are truly versatile. All these years later I'm still using 90% of the parts I bought 10 years agoโ€ฆ

It works just like any other Pyrex storage container set as the containers are dishwasher, freezer and microwave safe and the BPA-free plastic lids are dishwasher and freezer safe. Note. The product page says the lids are also microwavable, but I personally don't use plastic in the microwave so I can't confirm theโ€ฆ
