I've read that several old reviewers couldn't control their car's tailgate with this remote, but I took the risk that these reviews were old and outdated. up to date. However, I also had the same problem. On my 2007 Expedition EL Limited, I could operate the door locks and rear glass, but not the tailgate. I used the company's chat feature to troubleshoot the issue and they couldn't get it to work. I sent them back. I had to pay shipping, which annoyed me even more. I have also recently purchased blank keys for this car and my other car from this company. I'll cut and program them today. Wish me luck.
