Great for a Boy Scout uniform as it doesn't show anything anyway!
I used this Velcro on my son's scout uniform. He's a cub master and leader of the cave, but he also has a son in the Boy Scouts. Now he can change patches as needed. It worked great and my son felt the color was right for the purpose. I used a heavy needle to sew this. I also used nylon thread so I didn't have to change thread to match each patch. I don't know how well the thread holds, but the velcro works very well.
