This holdall was perfect for our dog. A 16 lb adult skinny mixed breed dog. I was nervous traveling with him for the first time. I put him to bed in an extension bag for a week before we left. We flew southwest and it wasn't a problem at all. My dog came in with a treat and lay down most of the time. I sat in the middle seat for 3 flights and the bag was comfortable but out of sight of the flight attendants. After takeoff, I opened one of the air extensions. I couldn't put my feet in front of me, but that was okay because my family was on my left and on my right. My dog slept in the extension bag throughout my trip. He didn't mind at all!
