Don't Waste Your Money
The Proform Electric Water Pump is a disappointment. While it may sound like a great alternative to a mechanical water pump, it is not worth the investment. The pump failed to work after only a few months, leaving me stranded on the side of the road. The only pro is that it does save some weight in the engine bay. The biggest con is that it is not reliable and can cause serious issues for your automotive cooling system. Save your money and stick with a mechanical water pump.
