I wasn't sure what to expect from this laptop as I had never owned one of the cheaper Lenovo computers in the past. I was pleasantly surprised by this. It's compact and lightweight, making it great for carrying around in your bag without having to carry around a huge laptop. The screen is very good, although I would have liked a slightly higher resolution, but it is suitable for most productivity and streaming applications. The keyboard is also very responsive and fun to type on. The trackpad is good, if not as good as something like a Macbook, but it doesn't claim to be. Pros ----------------------* Fairly powerful, Ryzen CPU and Radeon GPU are surprisingly good * Upgradable memory, there's a 4GB module slot - I replaced it with an 8GB which gives me 12GB storage in total * Fast to use, not full of malware - there are a few Lenovo apps but not a ton * Loads and hibernates very quickly, very good UI * Good set Ports on side including SD card reader etc. * Fingerprint scanner in power button is handy for easy unlocking and access. Cons ------- * Overall build quality feels "plasticky" - it looks like metal but it's plastic. The case bends when you press on the display hinges or on the front. But it's not a big deal, I just noticed * The thermals on this one are mediocre if you're using it on your lap - it gets pretty hot. If it is used on a table or an ordinary table, etc., it is not bad. The fan is quiet and doesn't always run, which is a good thing. * The speakers are not very good. You're better off using headphones or a better set of desktop speakers if sound quality is important to you. Overall I was very happy with this device, especially at this price point. In general, the car is excellent, despite some flaws. The battery life also seems to be pretty good. I haven't stress tested it yet, but I might do so in the future and update this review.
