Review on πŸ“Έ Optimized SEO: PEAK Design Cuff Camera Wrist Strap by Stacy Jackson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Hasselblad (and other medium format) users rejoice!

I use this strap on a Hasselblad 500CM. Before discovering this strap I thought my only option would be a strap with metal clips attached to pins on the side which I was afraid of scratching if I unplugged them but I decided to give this strap a try and it is working! It takes little effort initially, but the smaller anchor loops can be fastened around the strap pins on the side of the body and once tightened it's a solid connection! If I don't want to take out the huge strap, I just slip the cuff on and clip my camera to it for peace of mind when out and about with my favorite camera. When I want to put the camera away, I just unplug it, put it in my pocket, and then slip the cuff around my left wrist so it's always handy. The belt is made of very durable material and is similar to a car seat belt. It is easily adjustable and fits almost any wrist size. The magnet that holds the strap to your wrist moves to give you the right fit. Overall, Cuff is a very well thought out product. If you use a Hasselblad or other medium format camera with strap clips this is a great option, definitely give it a try! Replace them with new v4 anchors with thicker cords. These new cables will NOT mate with Hasselblad mounting points. A suggested workaround is to find a set of strap mounts for a Hasselblad or sister camera and attach new V4 anchors to them as the cables need to be routed through them. You can find them at OpTech as they make a set of straps for this camera, or KEH should have the factory ones.
