My 20 month old often sits and plays with this toy. He doesn't really like the hammer, so instead he pushes the pieces piece by piece with his hands. He laughs as opposite parts appear. I'm glad the pieces don't come out of the little wooden table so there's nothing left to collect at the end of the day. It looks sturdy enough to last, despite the plastic parts. My son has dropped the table so many times and it still looks brand new. This is one of the toys I use to teach my son colors and counting. Since my son is happy with this toy, so am I.
