Review on Itasca Waterproof Turquoise Boys' Shoes - Standard US Size Boots by Brett Morrison

Bought for a boy who likes to play in the rain but has outgrown his old boots. The color matches his cape and they look good. BUT IT IS NOT RUBBER AS DESCRIBED. Inside the boots there is a clear marking "PVC and artificial materials". As soon as the packaging was opened, a strong chemical smell filled the room. I let them air out overnight but after reading a lot about the dangers of exposure to PVC fumes I decided to return them for a refund. If you buy them, don't keep them indoors, especially in your child's bedroom! Before posting this review, I noticed that the price has increased by $13 since I placed my order.
