Product works great. The instructions are clear (except for how much wax to use). The wax melting process is a steamer where you place a paper cup of wax in a plastic cup of water and then heat it in the microwave to boil the water and gently melt the wax on top. After you've melted the wax and made sure it's not too hot, dip and cover the applicator and insert it into your nostrils. Wait about 90 seconds, then grasp the outside of your nose and pull the applicator FIRMLY. Depending on how well you place the applicator in your nose, the result may vary, but you will definitely get enough hair. Mustache patches are a good idea, but make sure your face is clean and dry as they are almost non-stick and you will need to hold them in place while inserting the applicator into your nostrils. For those who think they can try their ear canals. NOT. First, it's a different type of skin and hair, and because the ear canals slope inward and down toward the head, earwax can get into the ears. I had a much harder time pulling the applicators out of my ears than out of my nose, and I didn't have as much hair compared to my nose. I also found little bits of wax in my ears; A hot shower can't fix anything, but you really don't need more earwax than your body is already producing.
