price. Very thick and well made. So I decided to try it on one of my Quarter Horses and it's just "good". It's not "AMAZING" or "very thick and well made". It works and was inexpensive. Maybe I would buy it again because it works and it was cheap. I would not use this halter on any of my crazy mares as they would probably tear it up fairly easily. The gelding I use it on is old and tender and has hardly been used so will likely last a long time. I prefer nylon halters because here in Florida leather halters always get moldy unless your place is air conditioned. I've had this one for a few months and it hasn't broken or anything, it just feels inferior in quality compared to ALL the other "TOUGH-1" items I've bought. They were of fairly consistent excellent quality until this mediocre halter came along.
