🐴 Tough 1 Nylon Halter with Satin Accents Review

I ordered orange for the emergency kits and I like the color better. a tropical drink. So the color is not the same as in the picture, much more pastel, but in general the halter is appropriate for its value. Haven't tried them on a horse yet but the proportions look ok. I would spend more for everyday halters that get frequent use but this is good enough for infrequent use.

I've had many halters but this is the worst. Twisting it so that you can put it on properly will push the nose buckle against the nose so it fits snugly against the horse. If you get this part right, you will have to put the rest of the bridle on the bukledwon from the wrong side, like a left-hander. We've used it twice and two of the rivets already have nylon frays around the hole in the buckle.

Color was great, hardware was VERY weak. The eyelets and buckles were made of what appeared to be aluminum, very light, flexible. The eyelets were poorly placed, too light for the thickness of the fabric meaning they would pop out. They have a buckle tongue that doesn't move smoothly, and the straps are so stiff it's almost impossible to bend without bending over. Normally his head is smaller than the average horse but too big for COB. (Thoroughbred/Quarterhorse) When I get a normal size horse on a halter I usually have to punch a new hole to make it fit or he'll lose it on the field (they all pull on each other's halters as they play). price. Very thick and well made. So I decided to try it on one of my Quarter Horses and it's just "good". It's not "AMAZING" or "very thick and well made". It works and was inexpensive. Maybe I would buy it again because it works and it was cheap. I would not use this halter on any of my crazy mares as they would probably tear it up fairly easily.
