, I recently had a puppy and this item was great for potty training him. We put one in the bathroom where he stayed during the day and one in the living room. He accepted it very quickly. As expected, it needs cleaning from time to time. I wash both the tray and the grass in the bathtub. After my pup learned how to use it I took him to the patio because he was starting to get lazy, he just put his front paws on him which made him put rubber mats around him to prevent him peeing on them the carpet. In general, this is a good solution for puppy training. My dog has used it so much I didn't even notice. I highly recommend this product, especially for young puppies.
