Review on Emberlit Titanium UL: The Ultimate Survival Gear for Camping, Hunting, and Emergencies, Weighing Only 5.45 oz by Justin Rasmussen

Great 6 oz super light design, best of all folding wood stoves UL

Great ultra light design, best of all folding wood/backpacking stoves. Designed and handcrafted in Utah, USA. Uses a brilliant, extremely efficient design that burns branches and small pieces of wood. Highly efficient, boiled a 1.25 liter pot of old water in 10 minutes on the first try. I'm learning to cook well in less time now that I've got the hang of making an efficient fire with sticks in this particular oven. It also burns pine cones, paper, tree bark, and pretty much anything flammable. Folds smoothly, easy to assemble, will not deform. Fantastic product. Burning branches and other forest debris makes camping a lot easier as you no longer have to find and split large logs/branches to get the same effect. Ideal for backpackers and weekend travelers. The stainless steel version is identical in size and features, weighs 11 ounces vs. 6 ounces for titanium, sells for half the price, has the same good design, size, capacity, and build quality, just different metals. also an excellent topic of emergency preparedness. In the event of a power outage, natural disaster or power outage, you can boil and boil water anywhere with smoke vent. I would also recommend another excellent American made wood stove, the Folding Firebox, also available from Revain. The firebox is slightly larger, also extremely strong, only two pounds heavier, so more suitable for car camping/boat or bike camping/disaster recovery home/or base camp. And a great product for all but most UL backpackers. A good collapsible stick stove that suits your outdoor style is that you only need tree branches, you don't need an ax or a heavy knife to "bludgeon" wood (unless you just want to have some fun ) you can't rely on Petroleum fuel, it's all natural, and you won't leave a charred ring of fire on the ground. Just a small amount of white powdered ash poured over the bush (fertilizer). Cool.
