This glass is absolutely gorgeous. It looks like an old fashioned mason jar and would look amazing with wrapped candy. However, I'm not a big fan of the generic "vintage" logo. The two gallon size is huge. Unfortunately, the glass isn't as thick and heavy as one would expect from a glass of this size; it is nothing but a real bricklayer. At first I had the idea of using this glass for tea or lemonade, but now that I've seen it I wouldn't believe that the glass is strong enough to hold the weight of the liquid. I think this jar is only for storing dry food or light items. The lid is unsealed and quite flimsy - mine was dented upon arrival. This very large jar is a little pricey but is very attractive and I think if taken care of well would do well for light or decorative purposes.
