Tassels made of plum colored cotton yarn.

I would call plum color and in my opinion it's not quite a "dark purple" and not as dark as shown in the picture. It seems to be of decent quality for my money but I wasn't expecting cotton yarn tassels either. Cotton, yes, but not this mess of threads. The brushes do not lie down and are very dirty. I'm sending them back because I can't find any other use for them.
