Review on Acuvar 50-Inch Aluminum Camera Tripod: Sturdy and Versatile by Aaron Jimison

Revainrating 3 out of 5

VERY thin and cheap but great quality!

Remember you only pay $13 for this. You get what you pay for. The carry case and phone holder are great for the price. The tripod is light and very thin. Holds (some) phones and maybe a light point and shoot camera, but no DSLRs or anything like that. The phone clip works on small phones but doesn't really fit big phones like the Galaxy Note 5 in Otterbox. The clamp was at its limit and I had to remove the rubber tip to attach it. Add a light ring or a heavy case to your phone and the mounting plate will struggle to stay straight. No quick release plate. But for dirt cheap budget it can work!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Crumpled
