I'm shocked that so many people gave this shoe such a good rating. My son wears a size 3 and we ordered a size 4 because he likes very loose shoes. But even with the large size, the hole in the shoes is so narrow that he couldn't put anything in it but his toes! He also doesn't have very wide feet. As much as I tried to help him by stretching the boot and keeping it open as much as possible, we couldn't get them on. They're constructed almost like a "sock-like" shoe that you slip on and stitch close to your ankle, rather than a traditional sneaker (where you can open the tongue, slip the shoe on, and then tighten the laces).
