Not 12 " in Power Inverters

I ordered these to connect two of my LiFEPO4 batteries to a bus bar for 12V DC output. The cables are not 12". long. They are 12" from the ends of the tips. I thought 12" was for cables and spade terminals. Well, they are two" past my battery location from the BUS Bar. They should come back, I'll make them myself, um making sure I get what I need. There is no value here for me. 1 star for inconsistency.
