My 5 year old daughter only fits a size 9 and medium fit well leaving room for growth. Her dance studio has strict rules about where shoes can be worn, so it was great to leave out her ballet shoes or tap shoes instead of wearing street shoes. My daughter can wear them herself and they keep them warm in cold weather. The only criticism is the fabric. It's a very thin parachute material and the velcro strap constantly catches the shoes. Sewing and construction wise it looks like it will last, but the fabric is already looking bad with all those hooks. For the price I would have expected a slightly nicer fabric but I can see why they chose it for its wipeability. If you don't care about the brand, sometimes zulily will offer an unfamiliar brand that looks exactly the same and costs a third of the price.
