Didn't work with smaller laptop, had issues with Chromebook
I'm not sure if my device was bad or if it's a problem with all these devices. I only have it for video output on one of my laptops. When outputting 1080p, it flickered or disappeared entirely on my mini GPD laptop. Samsung didn't show up at all on my Chromebook (although it showed up as an output). USB sticks worked flawlessly and PD power pass-through also worked flawlessly. The Pixelbook also failed to detect the network device for some reason. I don't know what chip it has, but it seems wobbly.
