I was very happy with this automatic mailbox but unfortunately I can't say anything good about it. First impressions start off really bad: the manual has a QR code for the app (great idea) and when you select the iOS app you get a dead link. I found and downloaded the Honeycare app on the iOS app store and then tried to follow the pairing instructions to no avail. I finally switched to automatic pairing and it was successful. Of course, I found out later that if I wanted to use it with Alexa like I originally planned, I needed to connect it to the Tuya app, not HoneyCare. The Honeycare app is disgraceful in a word. It's inconceivable that such an expensive product would come with software localized for the US market by someone whose English skills are limited to Google Translate - and I'm being generous. The cycling button is labeled "Shovel". I don't think it's smart, funny, or acceptable. That says a lot about the complete lack of customer support in the US. So we found that the software is bad. Unfortunately, the hardware is just as terrible and cannot be fixed with an update. In no particular order: - high side walls can be handy to limit unwanted litter spills, but make access difficult for older cats - ribbed base is ideally designed for bouncing clumps - litter box is too small and fills up quickly - litter box space is limited too small for an adult cat - the lid of the litter box is a good idea, but it's too low so there's no headroom for poor cats - lights on the front, knobs on the right, drawers can be pulled out on the left . It would make a lot more sense to have buttons and indicators the same size as drawer access. Verdict: It's overpriced for what it is, a litter girl with a few tweaks. I say spend a little more and get a Litter-Robot, or spend a lot less and get a better designed LitterMaid. My cat pooped in front of the box so you have to understand what she thinks about that. I went back to the old box and haven't had any problems since. Not recommended.
