So I like the grid. goes through the plastic assembly that the suction cups need to be attached to, meaning you can't get suction cups on the frame. I don't know if I'm missing something or what but I had to attach the suction cups to the knot through the mesh and I could only get 5 of them to stay. I used mine so a disabled fish could live in it. because she couldn't come to the surface to eat. For this purpose it worked. Definitely a dainty little thing that came from China. It probably costs about 3 cents to make lol. But the size is good, I have plenty of room to plant some plants in it so the fish don't get stressed, and the mesh keeps their poop in so I can just vacuum right out of the tank without having to remove it, because i get the suction cups staying in place was a pain
