The reason I bought these bags is that many states, cities, counties etc., like mine, have taken the 'bold act' of banning plastic bags are also distributed in places like grocery stores, delis, gas stations, etc. I use these bags for other things like bathroom trash bags, put things like groceries in the bags, etc. As a result, plastic bags have practically disappeared around me, and so on there aren't many bags left, I had to buy a few from amazon. I got it and it's ok but not the best in terms of thickness, it can be used as a bag to carry light items and as a bin liner in the bathroom. That's fine, but if you need to carry heavy items, pack them in a double or triple bag. I'm happy with my purchase but it's still flimsy.
