When I took it out of the box, the indicator was green, like it was already charged, because according to the instructions, the bulb should be red. So we can assume it's ready to go. Therefore, you should proceed to the next steps as per the instructions. If nothing else happens, the weapon doesn't seem to work. When asked, the seller just repeated the instructions. I discovered 2 things for me that are not mentioned in the instructions - 1. Whatever color the indicator light is when unpacked, charge the battery for about an hour, 2. UNPLUG the gun from the mains before Proceed to the next step (which the manual doesn't say) the indicator doesn't change color if it's still connected to the charger. I've only used it once but it feels good in hand, the weight is perfect for small projects, I haven't seen any leaks at all, the flow is controlled, it takes about an hour to charge before charging again. . If it weren't for the issues I had with the guide/indicator I would have given it 5 stars at first.
