Just got it and tried it. I read reviews on other sites complaining about the picture quality, as well as problems connecting the device to the port in the farthest corner. I had some trouble connecting to most corners to play videos on the TV. I had to wiggle the connection before the video showed up and then make sure I didn't break the connection. I ended up putting an angle on the end so the connection was up and it worked pretty well. I found the picture quality excellent. Netflix streaming in near HD quality and some of the videos I uploaded played just as well on the TV as they did in my corner. The sound quality was excellent. I have full surround sound. This should work fine in hotels or on the go where I was unable to connect my Roco stick to their system due to screen capture issues. I would give it 5 stars if you didn't have to play with the Nook port connection to make it work. Also, you have to make sure you turn it off when you're done, otherwise it will drain your battery. Pretty neat stuff.
