📺 Barnes & Noble HDTV Adapter Kit: Connect NOOK HD and HD+ to your TV! Review

I bought a Barnes & Noble Nook HDTV Adapter Kit and I can't watch videos or movies with it. The cable works and I can see what's in my corner on the TV screen, but as soon as you start playing the movie the side of the TV goes black and you can only see the picture in the corner. You pause the movie and it reappears on the TV screen.

Technically, the adapter works perfectly. It's a little pricey, but that's no surprise since the adapter is proprietary. However, I ding a product for it. This is not the supplier's fault, it is B&N's fault. One of the main downsides is its width and the fact that when using a NookCover, the adapter is too wide for the connector to fit all the way in. This adapter is very easy to install and ready to use. There were no problems with it, it's worth buying. I highly recommend this adapter to watch Nook videos on HDTV. I just disagree with other reviews about the length of the adapter, I found it just right for how and where it connects to my TV. It was just right for me, not too long and not too short, I was able to put my Nook right under the connector on the TV stand, it didn't fall off or anything, everything is fine. Judge for yourself…

Apparently there is a defect in the HDMI cable or in the adapter itself. If we wiggle it until the picture shows it, that's great! But I bought this product used. I would recommend buying it new.

Just got it and tried it. I read reviews on other sites complaining about the picture quality, as well as problems connecting the device to the port in the farthest corner. I had some trouble connecting to most corners to play videos on the TV. I had to wiggle the connection before the video showed up and then make sure I didn't break the connection. I ended up putting an angle on the end so the connection was up and it worked pretty well. I found the picture quality excellent. Netflix…

Works great, everything in my corner can be seen on my TV. The only thing I would wish is that the cable from the TV to the Nook was longer. You almost have to sit on the TV to control the Nook, but that's the manufacturer's problem. Otherwise this is exactly what I wanted.
