I wasn't expecting much at this price but was surprised. These earbuds are very comfortable right out of the box, they fit very well, and the earbuds are soft and fit your ears well (and they give you a spare pair). They let *some* of ambient noise through, so they're a good option if you don't want to completely isolate yourself from the sounds around you. Excellent bass response, nice tight mids and decent highs. I'm not an audiophile, but to me they sound very good when playing digital recordings. The cables could be a bit longer - if you need to plug them into the "back" of a desktop PC, you're in trouble. Removing the front panel is easy. On the other hand, they are very small and light. I hope they hold up well, but right out of the box they're pretty good. I haven't tried the microphone. Good deal for the price.
