They are smaller than I thought they would be but they do the job for my purpose which I had to use as an ear cleaner. Despite being smaller they are very strong, there is enough cotton on the tips and they don't fray like other Qtips I've used in the past. I actually like these little Qtips better because they fit my ears more easily and I can imagine they come in handy for a lot of other things like brushing between small spaces like on my keyboard and using with makeup, many things they can be used for. They came in a little brown cardboard box and now I just let them know what box they came in and I just pull one or as many as I need right out of the box. I don't think I'll ever go back to other types of Qtips, so I'm very happy with these small, durable, and wooden Qtips sticks.
