They are smaller than I thought they would be but they do the job for my purpose which I had to use as an ear cleaner. Despite being smaller they are very strong, there is enough cotton on the tips and they don't fray like other Qtips I've used in the past. I wanted to like them and agreed with various aspects (packaging, amount of cotton) but the wood broke in my hand from time to time.
