I just checked the matching shirt with this skirt and decided to leave a comment here too. A maxi skirt means that the skirt falls to the ankles. And this skirt does just that. If you're short, you can fold the fabric in the waist area to shorten the length (this also helps gently pull your waist up if it's too loose). The color quality is very good, real coloring. The material is very thin and great for summer. I also recommend matching shirts (of different styles), they go perfectly with each other. I ordered 3X and usually wear XL or 1X to have more movement and allow for shrinking. It fit well although I had to fold the belt a few times to pin it down to be sure it wouldn't fall off. If I order another skirt I would choose 2X instead. I suspect a size XL would fit well, but the thin stretch material makes it catchy and I prefer skirts that are a bit loose. If you choose a darker color or tie-dye pattern, it will not show through. The label says it's 95% viscose and 5% spandex. My only complaint is that I wish they were cheaper so I could buy another dozen. All in all a very cute and comfy skirt for summer and I love that you can get a matching shirt (short/long sleeve, tunic, t-shirt, dress). I can't comment on shrinkage as I hand wash (recommended) and lay flat to dry. It does not crease and, due to its low thickness, hardly takes up any space in the suitcase. Do not remove the labels until you are sure they fit. It comes in sealed plastic folded into a small square. I hope this helps someone. Good luck choosing your colour(s)! :)
