I bought coasters in natural color as a gift. They were unevenly painted - both light and dark wood on each stand. They seemed durable and very comfortable to me, I kept them and ordered another set as a gift. The second set was more evenly colored, although one was ecru and the other much grayer. I gave them to a friend. She said that not only does she use them, but she also hangs them on the wall in her kitchen as decorations. I thought it was a good idea.
