My personal experience and I wear a lot of sandals, my favorite shoe in Florida.
Since they were short, an inch more leather would have made the sandals much better, I don't know if I will return them, but I hope they can improve the product in the future. The forefoot protection has to be on all sides to cover all toes, the velcro is short and sometimes slips off the ring, difficult for someone with back problems like me.
