I would give this 5 stars except one of the latches broke when I opened it. I'm glad there are two shots because I can at least use the rest. I'll try to use a strong epoxy (E-6000) which will allow for flexibility to put the snap cap back on. I'll see how this other clasp holds up over time and change my rating if necessary. Forget the locking situation, the wallet itself is beautiful. Good, soft leather. The note attached states that caution should be exercised when using this item near light materials, so I suspect the color (I ordered black) is prone to bleeding. This wallet definitely holds all my cards with ease. I doubled a few cards to make sure they all matched. (Should every store be issuing cards? Should I stock them all? Ha!) The horizontal card holders are a little tight, but I'd rather have them tight than loose. I get my cards relatively easy. Removable checkbook/register holder fits my double checkbook and two registers. The separate zip compartment has another zip pocket for coins and two bill pockets. This wallet is slightly larger than my regular wallets, but the larger size makes it easier to keep everything tidy. There was absolutely no bad smell coming from the wallet (ugh!). Overall I really like this wallet. I'm frustrated with the click reading several other reviews that said the same thing. I was hoping mine didn't have this problem. I keep the box the wallet came in in case the other clasp breaks. I've had cheap wallets for years and can't remember one breaking, so I'm disappointed that this has already become an issue. The time will show. I give him 6 months. If the remaining rig breaks before then, it goes back. If that seems like too long, I'll argue that I can buy a $12.99 wallet at Wal-Mart and have a button that will last for years. I'm not one to worry about what other people think of me when I pull out my wallet. I bought this product because I wanted to treat myself and I found it best suited my needs based on the reviews. UPDATE: I've had this wallet for 2 days. And the second bolt broke. I am so annoyed because this is such a good wallet except the buttons are not attached to the product. ANOTHER UPDATE: Well, if you really like this wallet (like me) and the only problem you have with this wallet is that the buttons have come loose, then I recommend you to use the E-6000 glue to buy. This is a glue that becomes flexible after drying (I use it in jewelry making when using leather, cord, etc.). I applied a small drop to each cap and let it dry overnight. I've been using the wallet ever since and had absolutely no issues with snapshots. I will upgrade my rating to 4 stars as this issue has been resolved. This wallet is PERFECT! I love the space, love the soft skin, love the way I'm organized (at least when it comes to my wallet).
