The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

With all my love for gadgets and various electronics, over the past 4 years I have not changed my D5000 from 18-135? although I regularly update the same phone every year and a half. In the case of my D5000, I have already begun to notice a significant difference in the quality of my tested device compared to modern cameras. Having gone to a couple of thematic events over the past year, I was resolutely convinced that it would be time to upgrade.
The choice was between the D7500, which looks solid, shoots decently, and in general is a reliable camera for a person who is not a professional photographer, but aims at an advanced segment of photo equipment.
The choice of another system was not worth it, because I have 2 expensive lenses from Nikkor, which I actually planned to install on my new D7500.
For a long time I thought about when to get it, where and whether it is worth waiting for seasonal discounts.
Ultimately, while I was thinking for half a year, the Z50 came out, which was dubbed on the thematic threads as the mirrorless D7500. At this moment, my choice became twofold more complicated, but since in the family I am not the only one photographing and it would not be convenient for my wife to use such an impressive camera as the D7500, the choice became obvious for me.

Pros

Compactness, now you can carry a new camera almost always with you to capture something unexpected. Previously, I used a phone for this, but you probably yourself understand what the quality of a phone is, albeit a top one. The presence of an adapter for my lenses left over from the last camera. Swivel screen. The ability to charge the camera from a portable charger with the same cable that I charge the phone. No wonder this is the presence of an entrance for SD cards, of which I have accumulated 3-4 pieces.

Cons

It quickly discharges during active shooting, especially now at a relatively cold air temperature. I don’t want to think about what will happen at -10 and -15, I thought about the advisability of buying a second battery.

With its pros. comfortable grip, light. Colors, dynamic range satisfied. Kit 16-50 and 50-250 closes all focal lengths for an amateur. Cons below: not yet found. Everyone writes about the darkness of whale lenses. As for me, this is a crop factor for entry-level lovers and it’s not appropriate to find fault with it.
