Review on Columbia Men's PFG Tamiami II UPF 40 Long Sleeve Fishing Shirt - High-performance for fishing enthusiasts by George Scoles

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The men's small will fit a woman aged 12 maybe 14.

I'm a long-armed woman so I have a lot of trouble finding sunshirts long enough to cover my wrists. Columbia women's shirts are the worst. Even with the increase in size, the sleeves don't seem to get longer. At wild risk I tried to order this men's shirt and marvel of marvels, the sleeves are long enough. In fact, they are so long that I can stick my thumb through the buttonhole on the cuffs. So when I ride, the sleeves stay on my ankles for full sun protection instead of riding all the way back. Weird, I know, but it works and I love it. Of course, that means they just run too long, but that doesn't bother me. I'd rather have a case. In general, the shirt is made qualitatively and simply. It protects perfectly from the sun without overheating me. Only the straps on the sleeves are bright white and shiny, making them a real eye-catcher and making it look more like a fisherman's shirt than a simple button. I can live with that if my hands are protected.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not trendy
