I bought 2T for my 1 year old kid so we can use it for a long time. It fits perfectly, very soft and so cute. But I always wash her new clothes before she puts them on. On the first wash, a long tie came out where the hem extends along the belt. It wasn't a delicate cycle, of course, but my daughter has much thinner clothes that will hold up to a regular wash and not tear. I think a $30 bathrobe will last longer.
