I always buy Finty covers because they work. Inserting the iPad into the case was very easy. I figured it might be too easy and the iPad would fall out, but I couldn't easily get it out of the case, so I've accepted that it fits pretty well. The magnetic case holds the iPad in different horizontal positions. Using the iPad in an upright position requires a manual hold. This is a lightweight lid with no tape to keep it closed.
