I really liked how easy it was to install! I literally have about 8 inches of light left that I tucked behind the edge of the last cabinet. Unfortunately there is no way to cut the cords and make pieces out of them so I had to drape it under the microwave which is still ok because our microwave doesn't work anyway lol. I read someone's review before purchasing this product. They recommended buying Gorilla brand double-sided tape. I bought it and it helped a lot with the clips. I didn't even have to use the sticky backing on the lightstrips themselves, I cut off small sections of the backing and used double sided tape in small areas under the microwave and that was it. I can sit about 25ft from the light and the remote works perfectly, it's very convenient because I have two grown men who always leave the kitchen light on lol!
