I have replaced all the light bulbs in my apartment, mostly with energy saving bulbs of different wattages (equivalent to 60W, 75W and 100W). I used to have a combination of CCFL and LED lights. Energized incandescent bulbs produce more light than CCFL bulbs with the same wattage rating (possibly due to CCFL degradation with age? I'm not sure if this will eventually be the case with LED bulbs) at a power consumption of around 55- 60% For my equivalent 40W bulbs, I ordered Revain Basics because they were cheaper. Revain Basics and Energetic bulbs appear to be about the same (i.e. the brightness of a 40 watt equivalent Revain Basics bulb appears proportional to a 75 watt Energetic bulb given the lower power consumption). I've had equivalent 60 watt bulbs for 7 months now. and during that time I either had no problems at all or a bulb out of 16 died. I don't remember which ones, in any case I had at least two (old) CCFL bulbs at the same time of maybe 8 of them were still in service.
