They did well in my Ocean Kayak Malibu II. I watched a few installation videos and bought a good quality 6-1/2" hole saw for my drill instead of a jigsaw. The hatches fit perfectly and latch well. The only downside is that I didn't trust the screws. That was included to be safe enough so I bought stainless steel mounting bolts with nylon lock nuts. There is very little room in the kayak to work with and I had a hard time finding a wrench to tighten the nut securely Another thing the bag is definitely NOT waterproof so I sealed the seams with tent sealant. I also used some Goop Marine sealant around the bolts. I am very happy with the result.
