Review on ๐Ÿ“ˆ Monitor for Performance by Patricia Jordan

Nice little device

It's not as good as a lead EKG monitor, but it's a very good device for the price. I got it so I can record my random irregular heartbeats to show my cardiologist and it serves the purpose. There is a free app that can be downloaded onto your tablet and BodiMetrics sends the data to the app via Bluetooth. The app allows you to send tracks to your photo folder. From there you can print them like photos. I AirDrop them onto my desktop computer and then print them out on my printer. It's also a body thermometer and seems to work well. The PO2 monitor also seems to work fine, although I have no way of verifying its accuracy. I don't have or use any of the other features. Purchased for ECG monitor only. Cons: Since there are no leads, you hold the device with two contacts between your fingers and press the third contact into the palm of the other hand (their recommended way) or to the side (which I think makes a much better trace), but You should be as calm and relaxed as possible. I got very unstable marks when using it while riding a stationary bike. This is a disadvantage as recording would be useful during training. Recordings can be viewed on the device itself, but the screen is so small that I have a hard time understanding it. Traces can also be viewed in the application, but I find that suboptimal too. In order to really get a good overview of the tracks, I had to save them in Photos and display them there. But that's a small inconvenience, not a big problem. Overall I like the device and would recommend it to anyone who wants to record their EKG and doesn't have access to or want to pay for a clinical quality device. . Please note that reading the ECG waveform is a high-tech skill. The best a layman can expect with this device is that you can take notes which can then be shown to a professional who can advise if more rigorous testing is indicated.
