DO NOT BUY WARNING Hard radio on the outside, but bold is no good. Pros: Not many, but there are a few. Excellent battery life Sturdy and durable body Good audio reception (when receiving) Cons: Audio transmission is weak or muffled at best. That alone makes this radio useless! Tried the mic with the speaker, it did better but then I couldn't hear the sound received. Nothing good. More random freezes and freezes that require reboot/restart. Cannot rely on radio and thus unusable again! Third Strike and FULL BARGAIN KILLER - Reception problems The radio is also random and inconsistent on the reception side. Sitting next to my GD-77, MD-380 and MD-9600 it can pick up 20-50% of the transmissions on one channel. I have been following the FB site and I am a very experienced engineer. So it's not like I haven't tried or dug to fix some issues, but unreliable is unreliable. There's no getting around it, and this thing is very bad. Maybe version 2 is better. This radio is totally INAPPROPRIATE and a waste of money, do not buy it.
