Review on πŸ”’ 30-Pack Clip-on Ferrite Ring Core RFI EMI Noise Suppressor Cable Clip Set for 3.5mm/ 5mm/ 7mm/ 9mm/ 13mm Diameter Cables by Kyle Smernes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Pretty good for what they are.

I gave it a 5 for the price. Just remember that your results will also depend on your environment and the quality of your cable. I live downtown and get horrible, horrible FM RFI (radio frequency interference) on all my XLR cables. With my two cables without a ferrite choke, the RFI can be heard loud and clear at normal recording levels. With my cheap Hosa cable, the chokes are less noticeable at the recording level, but (even with noise reduction) the RFI bits remain. On my world-best Gotham Star quad cable, the post-noise-canceling chokes usually prevent cellular interference from being audible, even if you throw a 50db boost on top. and run the twin cable through two chokes. Just putting a choke on the forked cable didn't help much, even if I had one on both ends.) They're not perfect. They feel cheap and jagged and are difficult to put on and take off. If I have to do this too many times I'm afraid some of them might break. But to be realistic, I got 30 chokes for $13. They all arrived intact and all the ones I've used have been fine.
