Many years ago our chiropractor suggested these pillows to support the work he was doing to restore the normal curvature of our necks. Headaches are a thing of the past. Then, after about 3 or 4 years, the pillows finally lost their firmness. I finally found her at Revain and remembered why I liked her so much. IF they made only part of the pillow (and not the boning) out of real memory foam that would easily be 5 stars. Well, before you read the review and think you're going to order it, there are a few things you need to know. If your neck is not aligned, you will feel pain. We still see our chiropractor occasionally so our necks are in good shape. If you've never adapted or it's been a few years since the last time, I recommend trying it slowly at first. Start with a rolled up towel and rest on it for about 15 minutes. Work your way to this pillow. Yes, it comes with softer bar inserts, but in my experience I'm starting out slow. I can't offer advice as I'm not a doctor, but I'm kind enough to share over 20 years of experience with chiropractors and have benefited greatly from it. For us, this pillow has been a blessing.
