I was heartbroken when my old MX 518 died a few years ago. This was the best gaming mouse I have ever owned. Logitech has completely coped with the ergonomics of the 518. I have never found a suitable replacement. I'm not a fan of the new Logitech mice. They have great sensors but very poor ergonomics with sharp edges and poor button placement. It seems like someone finally stopped by Logitech. The redesigned 518 combines the best of both worlds: the ergonomics of the 518 body combined with a modern interior. As far as I remember, it fits my hand just as well. In fact, I think the build quality could be a bit better than the original. The sensor is definitely more accurate. Overall it's even better than the old 518. Thanks to Logitech for really listening and giving people what they wanted.
