5 stars for quality!

I am very satisfied with this product and will try to keep my review as short as possible. The Ferro is a great quality rod, it's softer so it throws more spark and the included striker/bottle opener does a great job. The included knife also works well for piercing the ferro bar, as well as piercing with traditional flint and steel when removing some paint. A wire saw works well for cutting small trees if you know how to use it. I've started a few fires with greasy wood, but just like dust, I don't like using an entire stick to start a fire. The yarn was a good starter but I think it would be better to add more wax so it burns longer. Overall I love this product and would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about oily wood, how to make a fire with it and how to process it.

Pros
  • High-quality workmanship
Cons
  • There are problems
