I have a late 2011 MacBook Pro with High Sierra and I've been searching like crazy for something that can connect 2 external displays to Q. Only I have 1 Mini Display Port and 2 USB 2.0 slots. I couldn't find anything that would extend 2 displays due to the limitations of my iOS 10.13.6 on High Sierra until I bought this. I have an extra cable coming out of my laptop because I have a mini display to HDMI port that connects to one display and that USB to HDMI port works with a different display but it is working. There is a little lag on the screen when USB to HDMI is connected, which I think is to be expected since it converts video from USB 2.0 to HDMI, but it's actually not that bad. Wanted to write this review for those trying to do the same with an old MacBook. This product definitely works well and all I had to do was plug it in, select the magic link on the displays, click to use it as a standalone display, and arrange the displays the way I wanted. I actually have 3 screens now because my laptop screens also slide out independently.
