I have a Hamilton Beach 40715 that I bought 7 years ago. I've used it about 10 times and just stopped for no other reason than it was more convenient to drink regular coffee. So a few weeks ago I had a renewed interest in making cappucino (I used to live in Italy so I was starting to miss them) and pulled it off the shelf only to find it was just dripping, dripping, dripping slowly , If I'm lucky. generally dripping. My husband, who didn't drink coffee, liked the cappuccino, although it took 20 minutes to make one, so I started trying to get this thing to work. I went online and tried vinegar and water but to no avail. I've tried unscrewing the group head (had to stop because it wasn't going anywhere), I've brushed it, run water through it (always used bottled water), I mean everything. My husband even planned to buy me a new one because he was sorry for the amount of time I was spending with that car. I finally read about and tried this other natural cleaner (not descaler). I was finally starting to get better drops but it was so inconsistent. I practically had to dance in the rain to make it work, and then I took a few shots, but that's about it. So ordered stickers, got them yesterday and got started. Sometimes I would get a few drops and after a while I would unplug the machine so it wouldn't explode and try again. (By the way, the propellant works fantastic and has always worked). Today I tried to start it (same game from last night) and completely forgot about it, and after 15 minutes the whole game was running. I was damn excited. So I refilled it to start my 3 runs of fresh water and it runs like new. I even made a videotape and sent it to my husband. I almost gave up and even bought a used one (Starbucks via Venezia) which should be here next week but I'm so glad this little Hamilton beach is back up and running. I even contacted customer service about this and they offered me a 60 percent discount on a new one, which I appreciated, but I didn't want to buy another one as it shouldn't be that hard after 15 uses. Anyway, this thing worked and I honestly just wanted to crash my car because I gave everything I could. Simply take one packet, mix with 32 ounces of water, then pour into the machine's water tank and be patient. Don't give up until it goes through your car.
